Callian Messenger for IMPS is a mobile messenger that supports the OMA’s (Open Mobile Alliance) IMPS (Mobile Instant Messaging and Presence) protocol, and is designed to provide IMPS v1.2 and v1.3 specifications. Callian Messenger for IMPS enhances the features of other existing messengers and was part of Canada’s OMA TestFest (IMPS v1.3) in March 2006 to test its achievement.
